Francesca used our alteration service to have a bridesmaid dress altered to fit better. We’re very grateful for her 5 star review.

We work with lots of bridesmaid dresses and have even done group fits for those that are a part of the same wedding.
Generally when altering bridesmaid dresses we are altering hems and lifting shoulders. Other alterations we do to the dresses is raise the waistline, take in or let out side seams, when the dress will allow it. We can add panels to give better coverage on the bust, or to allow for more room in the bodice and/or skirt. If the dress is being shortened we can take the excess material and make use of the extras. Things we’ve done previously is make draping, hanky style sleeves. We’ve added some of the fabric to the buttonholes, so they tie in with the bridal party colours. We made a scrunchy for popping your hair up in the evening when you’re more focused on dancing than being your most elegant self for the photo’s. There is plenty that can be done to make your bridesmaid dress, or any dress fit better.
