    David Logan (Testimonial)

We talk about zip repairs and replacements lots, you can go back and read this blog post Zip It Up to find out more. We always try to repair a zip before we replace it and this can be on a host of items.Previously we’ve repaired caravan awnings, back packs, inflatable dinosaurs costumes, boots, as well and repairing and replacing on more common things like denim jeans, waterproof jackets and handbags. We’re very grateful to David Logan of Logan IT who wrote a testimony for us back in April 2022, I have no problem of promoting Kate Patterson of Sewho Studio’s to friends, family and connections I have. Being able…

    Stitch by stitch

Tailoring and embroidery go hand in hand and we love blending these 2 skills together. Kate and Nikki collaborated on projects for several years through their own separate businesses, Kate Rose Designs and Pink Nik Designs. It was such a great blend of skills that when the pandemic hit we decided that the time was right to take the leap and work together full time! If you’re reading this then there is a chance you already know how compatible these 2 things are, but on the small chance you’re here and you need more information then read on!

Zip it Up: showing a little love to your zips

When we talk about alterations at Sew Ho’s we always mention zip repairs. Zips are a small but essential part of our clothing that can regularly be overlooked until there is a problem with them. From jeans to jackets, boots to bags, even the odd sleeping bag and tent they keep our items secure and functional. But what happens when a zip starts to malfunction? A broken zip can be frustrating and inconvenient, but it doesn't have to mean the end of your favourite piece of clothing.
